SDG&E ELRP Enrollment for Individual Customers

Before you begin the enrollment process, please gather the following information:

  • San Diego Gas and Electric (SDG&E®) account number and service address*
  • An email address or phone number associated with the account
  • Contact Information (name, email, and phone)
  • Whether any of the meters you are enrolling have a back-up generator, including prohibited resources†, and Rule 21 Export or Non-Export Interconnection Agreement
  • A Rule 21 Export Interconnection Agreement is required if would like to be compensated for exports
  • Email address for ELRP event notifications
  • Your nomination(s), or expected load reduction in kilowatts (kW) during events for each meter
  • Email address for authorized signer of the Terms and Conditions (if you are not authorized)

* Eligible customers must receive electric services from SDG&E, a Direct Access (DA) service, or a Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) located within the SDG&E service territory.

† Prohibited resources are defined as distributed generation technologies using diesel; natural gas; gasoline; propane; or liquified petroleum gas, in topping cycle Combined Heat and Power (CHP) or non-CHP configuration.

The online application requires you to enroll accounts individually and is recommended when enrolling fewer than five accounts. If you wish to enroll five or more accounts, then please email us at support@elrp.sdge.com or contact us by phone at (833) 227-2513 to start the offline application process.
